There’s approx... 400 Leisure / Sportive Events taking place in various locations all over Ireland in 2015. Here is a proposal of some events for the club to participate in:
July 2015
An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour - 26th July
Starting: 9:30am. Trim, Co. Meath. 50km / 100km / 160km routes.
Register in advance – Entry €42.00 (Cycling Ireland members can avail of a 10% discount).
NB - Final closing date is Wednesday 22nd July 2015. There will be NO registration facility on the weekend of the event

August 2015
Leinster Loop - Sunday 16th August 2015.
Starting: 9:30am. St Laurence’s Community Complex, Old Grange, Narraghmore. 130km / 90km / 50km
The Leinster Loop with Stephen Roche is Ireland’s premier charity cycle sportive, nominated as Cycling Ireland’s best leisure event for the past 3 years. The Leinster Loop takes place in beautiful south Kildare, 45 minutes from Dublin city centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to ride with Irish cycling legend, Stephen Roche - with 5 routes to choose from: 130kms, 90kms, 50kms, 25kms and a 12km family fun cycle

Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford 23rd August 2015
Starting: 9:00am. Dungarvan. 50km / 100km / 160km routes
The whole event can provide a hell of a challenge for all levels of ability, and that is what this event is about – participation, fun and sporting challenge. With 3 distances to choose from 160km, 100km and 50km there is something for everyone.

Sean Kelly Tour of the Midlands (Irish Heart Foundation) 4th October 2015
120km Event - the The Kelly Slieve Bloom Challenge starting 8.15am.
This route takes in two climbs in the Sieve Blooms Mountains: Starting from the Tullamore Harriers Centre > Killeigh>Rosenallis>Clonaslee>The Cut (7.2km at 5%)>The Wolftrap (3km at 9%)>Kinnity (Food Stop in Kinnity Community Centre)>Birr> Cloghan>Boora>Blueball> Tullamore >finishing at the Tullamore Harriers Centre.
80km Event - the The Kelly Cut starting 9am.
This route takes in the flatter roads around the base of the Slieve Blooms, before joining with the 120km route in Kinnity:Route:- Starting from The Tullamore Harriers Centre>Killeigh>Clonaslee>Kinnity (Food Stop in Kinnity Community Centre)>Birr>Cloghan>Boora>Blueball>Tullamore>finishing at the Tullamore Harriers Centre.
